The least expensive are the fax-based multifunction printers. The highest quality are the copier-based products, which can run off hundreds of pages in short order and with very high quality.
Printer-based multifunction machines bring a good mix of the middle range, allowing for effective software packages to work with flatbed scanners and laser quality print, useful for most small to medium sized businesses.
