AVG also has a free edition which can be downloaded from the Internet and is great for home PC users. It provides updates and email scans, as well as a Control Center which allows you to personalize the settings for scheduled scans and program settings. It is compatible with all Windows programs except Windows XP.
AVG's email scans are compatible with Microsoft Exchange and Outlook. This software also provides scans upon boot-up.
